       Background

Response Marine was founded by Bill Lincoln in 1989 as a company specializing in the design and construction of welded aluminum fire/rescue boats. In 1991 the company joined efforts with Winninghoff Boats, Inc., and Response/Winninghoff quickly became a highly regarded source for these boats. Lincoln became vice president and chief designer for Winninghoff, designing nearly all of their commercial and recreational boats for 10 years.

Response Marine is currently designing and contracting for a many different builders, individuals, and agencies.  Projects range from 15 to 46', include a wide range of applications, and all are welded aluminum construction.

Lincoln is a former principal member of the NFPA Technical Committee on Fire Fighting Vessels and a member of the following:

        American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC)
        Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME)
        Society of Small Boat & Yacht Designers
